Ex-Forces day at Suited for Success
Suited for Success is holding an ex-forces day on Thursday 28th June to help support unemployed ex-military men and women into employment. The day is also in recognition of our new commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.
On the day we have a team of managers from The National Grid volunteering with us for the day who will be doing competency based one-to-one interview coaching, Pertemps Recruitment will also be one hand to offer employment advice and each client will be dressed, styled and provided with a FREE interview suit by our Suited for Success team ready to give a great impression at their next job interview. There are a very limited number of appointment slots available for unemployed clients who have an ex-military background.
Booking an space
Referrals to our ex-forces day can be made through the job centre or a number of ex-military charities and support organisations (we would also be happy to take self-referrals) . On this occasion people do not have to have a guaranteed job interview (but great if they do), however, would be actively looking for work and have maybe attended one or two interviews in the past but not been successful in getting the job. This is really great opportunity.
Spaces are very limited and must be booked in advance through an ex-military charity employment advisor, work coach or self-referral by emailing: info@suitedforsuccess.co.uk. (N.B: This event is for ex-military clients ONLY. Please bring along a CV on the day if you have one).
Suited for Success Armed Forces Convent
Suited for Success is developing a new strand of work to support unemployed ex-military men and women into employment working together with ex-military charities and organisations across the West Midlands including : The Poppy Factory, The Royal British Legion, Walking with the Wounded and SSAFA (the Armed Forces charity) as part of our 'More Than Just a Suit' programme and our commitment to being part of the Armed Forces Covenant.
The ex-forces days and events are additional to our regular one-to-one appointments also creating a platform to offer CSR skilled employee volunteering opportunities with our business partners and supporters.
