Fresh Start 2018
On Thursday 18th January Suited for Success is hosting our first ex-offenders employment event as part of our new 'More than Just a Suit' programme strands being developed this year to further support unemployed men and women into employment. The event is in partnership with Birmingham Job Centre Plus, also supported by Google Digital Garage and recruitment agencies Chance 2013 and New Leaf CIC.
On the day attendees will have the opportunity to:
Meet with recruitment agencies who work exclusively with ex-offenders and have live jobs.
Get one-to-one CV coaching and advice with Google Digital Garage experts.
Training and career opportunities advice from Job Centre work coaches.
Be fitted with a FREE interview suit by the Suited for Success team.
The day is split into two sessions (10AM - 12PM) OR (1PM - 3PM). This event is for ex-offenders ONLY. People are also encouraged to bring along their CV and pendingjob applications on the day).

Fresh Start is a pilot programme and employment event hosted by Suited for Success to support ex-offenders into employment working in partnership with a variety of agencies across the Birmingham and the West Midlands. The Fresh Start employment event will be developed and repeated several times throughout the 2018 working with Job Centre Plus, different agencies, service providers and employers as part of our 'More Than Just a Suit' programme.
