Our bus mission
Our mission is to take our employment help and support right into the heart of areas across the West Midlands that have some of the highest levels of unemployment in the UK. Our bus project allows more people to access our FREE support, giving unemployed people of all ages and background the tools they need to begin or continue their journey of preparation into employment equipped with the resources and skills to succeed. Our bus allows us to reach unemployed people who need our support but rarely leave their local area or engage with traditional employment support services.
However, our bus days couldn't happen without the continuing volunteering support from National Express West Midlands bus drivers and working together with grassroots charities, community organisations and neighbourhood forums on the ground in the communities.

Centenary Square - Birmingham City Centre
A fantastic bus day yesterday in an iconic Birmingham city centre location, working with the Birmingham City Council Youth Hub based in the Library of Birmingham, supporting unemployed young people preparing for employment. We were also joined by a team of volunteers from the PwC UK Birmingham office.
Oldbury Town Centre
The sun came out for our first Suited for Success bus stop day in Oldbury Town Centre as part of our employment bus tour across the West Midlands. We had a really busy day in the sunshine right in the middle of a vibrant market day, supporting job seekers who hopped on our bus to get support on their journey into employment.
Birmingham Bullring and Grand Central
We held our very first employment Bus day in Birmingham Bullring and Grand Central parked in from St Martins in the Bullring supporting passers-by with employment support also supporting employment opportunities across the Bullring in retail and hospitality. We were also joined by a team of volunteers from Gleeson Recruitment.

Our mission is to take our employment bus right into the heart of areas and communities across the West Midlands that have some of the highest levels of unemployment.
Our bus offers access to our FREE employment preparation support including 1-2-1 coaching, CV reviews, interview skills coaching, job search, a live jobs board, job application support and the provision of a FREE interview outfit. Our support is for anyone who is, all ages and backgrounds.
However, we can't reach the people who need our support the most without working together with grassroot community organisations and charities on the ground who know and support their local communities.
